Goodwood Breakfast Club, Vee Power Sunday, 4th October 2015

This was my first Vee Power Breakie and I was a bit unsure of the theme but it was brilliant, as most Breakfast Clubs do appear to be these days. As ever, just a massive selection of everything.
The queue at 07:50
A LOT of Lambos out today
Just about the perfect auortmotive shape.....as far as I am concerned anyway!!
Interior of the day!
Only nine made and you can see why. It's pretty horrible.
It's a wrap!
458 (very) Special!
How many grillion pounds is this worth? STUNNING!
Loving the Alcantara!
The bike of my boyhood dreams!
Timeless!
Cant get more VEE Power than that!
I would describe this colour as "Salmon Pink". It looked great.
Getting a full length shot of a car this long at a Breakfast Club is no mean feat. Patience is required!
DD's immaculate 360 GTB
Lovely in yellow!
There were a LOT of Lambos! Hurrah!!
A modern Ferrari with a classic steering wheel. Very odd but I liked it.
Seeing a lot more Capri's around these days. Which I believe is a very good thing!
Stunning F12. I could live with one of these.
Of course they are real!!
This is a lovely looking car....I think.
A stunning thing!
Something of a kit-car finish!
I want one of these!
How sexy are rivets??

Goodwood Breakfast Club, Thoroughbred Sunday, August 2nd 2015

It seems the last Breakfast Club I attended was Thoroughbred last summer and the sentiments remain the same....it is the best, based upon the fantastic variety of cars on display. I saw what I believe was my first 300SL Roadster (Gullwings becoming a common Breakfast sight) alongside (metaphorically) an Austin A40, Mini, MGA, American muscle and custom and more Jags than you can shake a stick at. My car of the day was the glorious Cisitalia on the grid. Never seen or heard of the car before but it was wonderful.

Goodwood Thoroughbred Sunday, August 3rd 2014

FOR ME this is the best theme and the most enjoyable breakie club. There's a lot of people but it is not stupid crowded and the theme generates a fantastic eclectic mix of cars. And whilst I don't strictly confirm, being a post 1966 car, there are others which seem way off the mark. But I am not complaining. Bring on "V Power" in Nov!

Italian Sunday, October 6th 2013

The final Breakfast Club of the year and quite possibly the best weather, an amazing sunny day playing havoc with glare, flare and shadows. A great display of cars and more red Ferrari V8's than you could count. Outside of the classic F cars, I have decided Lancia made some of the best looking older Italian cars and the Alfa's come a very close second.

Thoroughbred Sunday, August 4th 2013

Allegedly pre 1966 but the Daytona sneaked in and so did assorted newer cars but mostly old, restored and lovely. This is the best theme I have experienced at Goodwood, so much more civilised than SC Sunday and just so much variety. Though I must say I am looking forward to Italian Sunday in October.

Super Car Sunday, June 2nd 2013

I left home slightly nervous on account of this events popularity, registration seemed to work pretty well though and there was not much queuing. I was tucked away right at the back of a paddock next to the airfield where nobody could see, touch or brush up against my car and I had a perfect route out shortly after 10:00. Goodness knows what time those cars on the start/finish and general paddock area arrived. Some fantastic cars and it was SUNNY!!!!

Sushi Sunday, April 7th 2013

My first Breakfasat Club of the year. I would not normally go to this one but wanted to try my new camera. I must say, not the most inspired theme. I was hoping for more bikes too, but we didn't hang around. The car park was generally more entertaining, for me at least. And the bacon and egg roll is worth the trip alone.

Supercar Sunday, May 6th 2012

Was wet, windy and frezzing cold. But some lovely cars, an eclectic mix, from the latest Lambo to multiple Zonda's and a TR6.

Supercar Sunday, June 2011

Supercar Sunday June 2010, was a bit of a grey day.
